I was there awaiting the timer and when it ran out a quick refresh & drop the BBB in my cart waiting but while paying thru PP it slipped out & website said sold out!! What? Tried each otherās clairview & a solid but had no luck sticking it in my cart!! Damn it!

Bout the same. Hit āpayā and before it could process, it kicked me out. Similar to the previous LP drops. I donāt really see how I could have been any quicker. Iām starting to get annoyed by these smaller drops.

Yeah it was the bbb and honestly looks a lot better than the P3ak one! I wish the P3ak one was like that would have nabbed that instead of the berry berry!

Itās bbb but the speckles turned out extra blotchy on the kai 
quite a unique one. The bbb ones were quite abit more Pricey over the base colors. Could only pick one and went for the P3ak bbb.

Sorry, but in my opinion, this isnāt about pleasing or being unpredictableā¦ if you decide to re-release colorways that have made history for your brand, as you did with the Yoyo, which is faithful to the OG model it celebrates, the same should apply to the colorway. Clearly, you no longer have the same anodizer today, and itās no longer in the same place (continent) where yours was back then, so do some testsā¦ if the result is, like the Legacy 28 stories or magenta/splash lime, then go ahead. If, like with the BBB or the Team, it doesnāt even remotely resemble them, either I make them work hard to achieve a satisfactory result, or I abandon the project, as beautiful as it could have been because, as it is, itās still ridiculous.
This is just my opinion, but itās the thought that comes to mind when I see these colorways.

The BBB Kai and P3ak were made overseas, presumably by established CLYW partners. Perhaps the finish was done by the same anodizers that handled the Klondike, Beater etc.
The fact that we have two contemporary models (Kai & P3ak) with vastly different results demonstrates how yo-yo finishes change over time and between batches. Both sold instantly, so I think the decision to release them is vindicated.
The Legacy Peak has many already discussed constraints.

Oh, for sure. There are a lot of old Peaks that exist where people did custom jobs recreating/expanding upon that design, and they look great. Definitely not a hard thing to copy.
A fairly contrarian take considering they all sold out instantly. Did you buy one?
So if everyone bought them right away, what does that prove? Of all those who got them, how many know the first BBB colorways or the Team Ed. colorway from 20 years ago?
What does it matter if I bought it or not? I didnāt say they have flaws. Are you blind or canāt see the color difference between these two reissues that have nothing in common with the OG ones?!
