10 ball bearing one drop vs YYF Spec

read title

I’ve read the title. Are you asking for opinions on which one people think is better? If so, they are both excellent bearings. You’ll be fine with either one.

The spec bearing works fine, but the 10 ball is amazing. I think it increases smoothness greatly.

Put a bearing in your yoyo. Go hard.

10 ball bearing by one drop has 10 balls inside as opposed to having 8, like a spec. More balls= less friction. Therefore, a 10 ball is smoother, and you should expect longer spin times.

More balls = more friction, not less.

More balls → smaller balls in bearing → less contact surface in between races = less overall friction

Ten Ball IMHO is alot better than the SPEC

This guy knows what’s up.

Little balls have to spin faster and more times per revolution to keep up with bigger ones.
Kinda like a big wheel bike vs. a little wheel bike…

Both bearings are excellent and I play both but I feel the 10 ball is better quality all around. It seems to need less maintenance and plays more quiet than the spec even when you run them dry. I hate noisy bearings!
