YYJ Speed Bearing

Hello peoples:d
i just recived my x-convict and it camed with the new yyj speed bearing.
i heard that this bearing is built for use it dry…i want to know how true is this…should i put some thin lube in it or should i let it dry an use it just like that:d…i have to mention that i just cleaned the bearing:D

You could lube your yoyo or just run your bearing dry…
It will last longer if you lube it but it will become SLIGHTLY responsive…
Not too responsive and unresponsive enough to do advanced trick…

i know that this is recomended but i read that this bearing is built so you can use it dry…and i want to know if somebody who own this type of bearing and it use it dry it have problems with it…
sorry my english but i’m just in the process of learning now:P

Any steel bearing will need lube in the long run, including the YYJ Speed. You can run it dry, but it’s lifespan will decrease, and it will probably become very noisy. I personally don’t recommend it.

I thought you said ruin. You would have been correct. :stuck_out_tongue:

As Eleldil said, you will want to lube it. Lube is made so that bearings can last much longer as opposed to letting it run dry and heating up much more with use and will run against itself much more.

Your english is just fine. Better than some of the people here.
