Has anyone tried to pop the weight rings out of the Legacy? Is it easy? I tried (with little force) with no luck, plus I didn’t want to destroy it :-\

I think you need to destroy it.

I was able to pop the rings out without hurting the physical integrity OR messing up the surface.
If anyone is at all interested I can help out. I intend to paint this and make it purdy.
wow,I never thought one could do that,but I would keep them on, without them I think it would be more of a kickside.
Well it feels like I’m playing with a bottle cap at the end of a string (extremely light). I only popped them off so I can paint it. Obviously, I only want to paint the body, and nothing else.
Hopefully this will be a neat project. I will post pictures if I ever complete it.
Once you pop them out it is nearly impossible to get them back in.
YoYoJam uses a machine to place them in the yo-yo - so it is not recommended popping them out…

What machine? Anyways, unless the machine compresses the weight rings, you can probably do it.
