But anyways, my Cypher also has the bearing super glued on to it xD still can’t get the bearing off

My bearing seems super duper gorilla concrete glued on. It doesn’t wiggle a bit, the pliers/drill bit just slips around on it like no ones business.
You guy need to workout. My bearing seat was super tight but with the multi tool and a little elbow grease off it came.
If I could find one of the ten billion fuajsding multitools i’ve bought over the years…

Yea min came with a little nick on the engraved side as well but I didn’t think it was that big of a deal. I’m happy with it.

I also love my popstar! Really easy to carry around, and its REALLY fun to play with
I’m glad other people are enjoying the popstar as well. After reading so many negative views about it leading up to receiving my pack, I was becoming a bit worried that it wouldn’t like it. But that’s not at all the case. Like YYF said on their ask.fm, it really is a pocket thrasher. It’s not as stable or as long spinning, and definitely not floaty at all compared to my other throws, but it’s really fun and challenging to play with. It performs plenty well enough to make throwing it enjoyable, and the fact that it’s so portable makes it awesome. I’m honestly tempted to buy another popstar eventually just because it’s so fun.
Is there a category of yoyo like “training equipment”? In every other competitive field, there are weird, misshapen, completely uncompetitive gear that’s still good for practicing some narrow set of skills.
Why can’t the Popstar belong to that category, instead of some simplistic, “Eww, gross! It’s got cooties, cuz I can’t win on stage with that!”

Wait , after taking out the bearing and screwing it a couple of times, does anyone else strip the paint off the side of the place the bearing comes out of?
That tends to happen to me with throws with right bearing seats or throws that are harder to tighten
FINALLY got the bearing off after freezing it for 20 minutes, pouring some lube in it, and using a 1/4 drill bit to get it out.
Was pretty dissapointed, I got the new bearing on the cypher and vibe.
Update:
Just realized what the vibe was from. The string was hitting the side of the yoyo causing it to vibe. I put a string centering bearing in, and now it works great 
No vibe, and the yoyo plays pretty well too.
Tomorrow I’m going to clean the string centering bearing I have in it, because its a bit responsive right now though lol.

Thats weird, i basically did exactly what you did, and my Cypher is smoother than smooth…
Off my throw it vibes a bit but after some movement or touching with my fingernail its good

Yeah, it was also making it responsive.
It was actually touching the response(The response is sticking out a bit on mine) and making it vibe and be semi-responsive.

The Cypher is shmoove, even though the bearing is a bit rattle-y, and it’s totally inspiring me to get going up the trick ladder ASAP! :o
I was hoping for a black and gold Popstar like NoHydraNo’s, but mine is aqua and greenish-yellow. It is totally a training throw, like weighted vests or smaller targets.
