I was thinking, “Why wouldn’t he use the Too HOT?” But I watched the video to try to figure it out. I have no idea what it was, but it was raw and well-polished.
Told ya! lol i’m betting he was throwing the mystery throw, i mean, why not right? i was hoping the mystery throw was gonna be the production run of the Too Hot but it’s a signature throw so from what i understand, it wouldn’t be included
production run of toohots comes out in october.
Well maybe I’ll pick one up then. I already have a prototype from YYE with another one coming in a trade. I’ll have to see how they compare (if they made changes from the proto). If it’s the same I probably won’t get one.
Any more info on them? Or just when they come out?
Forgive me If this sounds dumb, but are the signed cards of the players actually signed by them or are they just printed signatures?
Not dumb, they are actually signed.
Probably a Too Hot proto since they are still testing for a more machine friendly yoyo. This might be the selected one that’s going into production or one he preferred that was a bit difficult to machine. During his prelim when he did the arm gyro it definitely looked like a too hot atleast to me.

Darn. I was going to say I’d be happy with a popstar if it was bape, but any other color… nah.
Am I the only one whos actually not dissapointed about the popstar? When I had a popstar I actually liked mine, plus its just a free yoyo, because we really bought it for the unreleased yoyo, right? It also comes with custom engravings and in some cool colors.

I was hoping for b-grade G-funks or something. I love the G-funk and think more people should own one.
The Popstar, not so much…
I’m not TOO upset, but it will depend on what color Popstar I get.
The Cypher is just ‘okay’. I get what they’re going for. A super cheap bell/h-shaped yoyo that’s all metal. Pretty much fits in to what is popular right now (Organic H-shapes, bell shapes, etc.) but at a cheap price point.
Hard to be super excited about the Cypher when you have a Cascade, or tooHOT, or even a WM2. 
I think it’s safe to assume that the Cypher will be the budget stand in for beginners that want a TooHOT but don’t quite want to drop 50 dollars for one. (+whatever the extra charge will be for the cool colorways.)
At least the Cypher looks like it won’t cut your face open.
