A bit disappointed on the Popstar. Especially since they sold b-grades, that were dead smooth, for $10. Hopefully this throw will make up for it! Shape looks super nice!
This is why I didn’t buy a box. I figured it would kinda be a cheesy box. I will wait for the real mystery box in a couple months :). Although I hope all of you who got your boxes like them. Plus it is always fun to try and win a big prize!

I guess I don’t get why this is a cheesy box. They already said the new release is going to cost more than the price of the mystery box. So you get a new release for less than retail price, a free popstar and other misc goodies. I’m super excited for mine to arrive.

Yep. It’s a solid mystery pack to me. The Cypher is with the price alone, that shape looks awesome! Like you said, the best way to look at this pack is that we get a deal on the Cypher and a popstar is thrown in for free. I don’t get all the hate on the popstar. I’ve never thrown one, but it seems like everybody expects every single yoyo to perform like a draupnir.

Well, as soon as they said the unreleased yoyo was worth more than $45, we kind of knew the other yoyo had to be cheaper than $40. Which left very few options to what it could really be, and the popstar was more obvious.
Like some others, I’m actually pretty excited about the popstar. I probably wouldn’t have ever bought one if it wasn’t for this pack (not because I’m against the design, I just have a lot of other throws that I want), and it’s essentially free.
