My favorite yo-yo in pop culture is the one that pops up when the movie ends, and you can see the reflection of someone in the screen. that has got to be my favorite yoyo.

Spotted today: an Anthropologie ad running on the video screens in the MTA stations where a 2 second snippet appears to be a woman throwing an Imperial.

Tommy Jackson was a fantastic fiddler. I remember I had an album, “Fiddle Tunes for Square Dances” when I was into learning. He was very good.

I’ve seen a sticky’d thread like this on many other forums so I’ll start one and see if this takes off.

The idea is to collect and post any yoyo sightings you see in media, pop culture, or out in the wild you happen to come across. It’s just for fun and if you’re anything like me I know you get excited when you come across a yoyo reference spontaneously

I cant find a picture…

But in the show Big City Greens, there was a episode where they were cleaning up clutter. Grandma threw a yoyo in the Trash.

I told my kids they were no longer aloud to watch the show. And to not get any ideas!

From the Ohiohistory.org page. Who knew? I mean, I grew up there. I lived there until I was 18 anyways.
