Just got word from YYR that the colored Draupnirs are due for mid next month.
According to Kengo, they are not in (mass?) production yet.
I may have to check into that!
At least i have ample time to write a good review.

I picked up a draupnir at worlds and let me tell you it is the most sold throw Iāve owned yet.
Do you own a Stealth Ogre? Or have you thrown one? Iād love to know how they compare. The Stealth Ogre is my most solid throw by far.
There is a significant difference between the Stealth Ogre and the Draupnir.
The Stealth Ogre is ALL about spin-time and stability. In doing so, it sacrifices on the agility-front due to its mass and density of Brass. Even the relatively speedy and certainly agile Leo; is slow compared with the Draupnir.
The Draupnir is a new standard in spin-time/stability combined with amazing speed and agility. Only my Ti Walker has anything near the play characteristics of this insanely great yo-yo.
This only makes me even more excited about getting one.
Kengo wasnāt planning on selling any but i am pretty good friends with him and he sold me one, but just letting you guys know i believe there were only 3 red with silver rims made i heard. I may be wrong though.
That wouldnāt make much of a sense. Why make a throw that they wouldnāt sell, and at the same time stop producing the old (Sleipnir design) models?
And by the way, could any Draupnir owner tell me what the material for the rims are? Iām guessing the body is entirely 7075, but the rims made me think itās made from titanium.
I think they are SS.
Does anyone know how thick Draupnir is? I think about cross section of this yoyo.
I finally got my hands on a Sleipnir!! I have wanted one for a few years now!!!
This was labeled as Silverā¦ To me it almost looks raw but I am pretty sure it is just a clear coat as engraving is there. Can any of you in the know confirm this for me?
Mine had a clear ano.

Thatās the Silver version. I have the same one. The RAW Sleipners I saw when I was in Japan had no engraving at all.
