Any bets on #7 being the #1?
Uggggh. A PARTS pack. >:(
parts pack? -_-
boo
on a side note, werrd stuff is gonna be up by late next week
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!
Really disappointed about this one too
unless the last two are unbelievably awesome I’m gonna have to say this was a failed promotion
not really, a ton of the packs sold out, some in just a few minutes. Just because there wasnt something for you doesnt mean it was a failure
I agree, I think this has been a great promotion. I’ve picked up two packs and if I had more money would have picked up more. I actually like the parts pack. I could use some of the oil, and the extra bearing is a great addition too, that is 15.00 I can get for 10.00 plus stickers to plaster on my sons wall, another tool to put in my box (I know have a tool on both vehicle key chains) and some more trading cards. Not a bad little pack and there are pads on top of that. I don’t see the problem here. I may still pick it up, just not sure yet.
Just ordered pack 7!!! yay sooooo cheap!!
Went to the D.C. tour stop. It was awesome!! It was cool hanging out with them. I got my Supernova Lite signed four times. The were a couple contests for experienced player. The prize was an 888!!! They were literally giving yoyo’s to the experienced players, as well as great advice!
seriously? :o
dang, why can’t I live on the east coast? haha
hopefully they’l do a west coast tour eventually
Hopefully they do a gulf coast tour or southwest tour. Basically in Texas.
The packs that sold out were in low numbers to begin with, and i mainly say it was a failure because of the supposed “discounted prices” which were really a slap in the face to all yyf’s loyal customers. Yyf can sell their products for whatever they want but don’t make us think we’re getting some kind of deal
prize pack #1: monster ($110) + dna ($125) = $235
their price: $170
Probably closer to $250 due to them both being special edition bombsquad colorway. not sure how much these sold for originally though, so not sure about the pricing.
Prize pack #2: unnamed yoyo… not really sure about this one.
prize pack #3: Counterattack ($30) + whip ($10) + pocket change ($14) = $54
Their price: $40
Prize pack #4: JK ($22) + multitool ($6) + fast holder ($6) = 34
their price $20
JK was also special edition signed by Kato.
Prize pack #5: 2 shaqler loop 900s ($26 x2) + multitool ($6) + thick lube ($5) = $63
Their price: $40
Prize pack #6: Ann connolly yuuksta = $75
Their price: $60
Prize pack #7: fast holder ($6) + spec bearing ($10) + red pads ($3) + yellow pads ($3) + thin lube ($5) + multitool ($6) = $33
their price: $10
I don’t see how you’re not getting a deal here… Not to mention that they also include some stickers, which are just cool to put on a case or something. (I have my first skateboard as a sticker collage kinda thing, so I got a couple new stickers to add to it )
lol, if you only new what it costs manufacture that junk
Fine, you go ahead and make your own yoyos then.
I guess I don’t agree with that Matttt, I picked up the looping pack for 40.00. Normally it would have cost me $50.00. So I saved 10.00 plus got a multi-tool a $5.95 value. Looping oil a 5.00 value, stickers, tour book, two additional tools that came with the loop 900 plus YYE stickers and trading cards. Sure they are not doing buy one get one free, but on top of that, the loop 900’s were no just loop 900s they were special editions. Not sure what you are looking for. Also the two packs ago the limited edition ann conolly yuuksta was 5.00 cheaper, please all the bonus stuff, plus a rare special edition. I guess I just don’t see what your seeing.
which were really a slap in the face to all yyf’s loyal customers.
because you seem to be so worked up about it, I’m assuming you consider yourself a loyal customer to yoyofactory.
But then you go on to call it
junk
This is just my interpretation of the past few posts.
But also, its known as making a profit, and its something most companies do to stay in business. Do you know how much it costs mobile carriers to send a text message versus how much they charge you for it? No need to bash them for cutting costs while continuing to make products that can hold their own against the more expensive competition
