Much more like a MagicYoYo N12 to me, the Benchmark O is more a “pure” organic whereas the Cypher has a slightly hourglass curve to it. From left to right, Cypher, N12, Benchmark O.

Thanks a bunch. Cypher is a tad lighter, and a tad smaller. Slight shape difference too. Cypher seems to have more rim, before it drops down toward the bearing. N12, the rim seems about equal to the rest of it. I’m just gauging from the pics. :-\

A side by side comparison with the N12 would be interesting. I feel they look similar aside frOm the central nub on the Cypher.
They look similar, but play completely different - the N12 feels far heavier given the slight weight difference. When I throw the N12 it feels like it may take my head off if it grabs suddenly 
Very interesting. I think the Cypher has a noticeable floatiness to it. It’s pretty interesting how those small aesthetic differences amount to major play differences. I’m glad you happened to have that MYY for comparison.
I don’t have a Catalyst to compare to (but I will this week!), but there are definitely some differences in shape judging by the profile pics on YYE. It’ll be interesting to see the comparison though, being another YYF throw.

Shape wise it’s looks very puffin 2 to me.
Not to scale, but they have some similarities too. Both fast and floaty.

Now that makes me want to own a Puffin 2 some day I’ll get my first CLYW…when I have money, and they release a new yoyo at the same time lol

That really makes me want a Puffin 2 now. I’m really liking my Cypher, and a slightly smaller diameter would be perfect.
Give me a bit, but I’ll stand them up so you can see the width too.
I can tell the Puffin is slightly wider, which I’d be okay with. Diameter is the spec I care about more. Regardless, thanks for posting them
