Already kinda been done. The Skyva has a pretty similar profile to the Octavia. The little step near the response on the Skyva is different than the straight wall to the response on the Octavia, but oterwise the Skyva is just a slightly bigger Octavia, and the Octavia even has a concave hub that works well for fingerspins (though it takes more skill, it wonât lock it in like the Skyva, so you have to be accurate, but if you hit it right it fingerspins really well).
Yeah, I have two Octaviaâs and 3 Skyyvaâs but in my opinion they play nothing alike.

I agree, I had an Octavia as well. They just have similar profiles and can fingerspin well. The weight distribution would need to be changed significantly in the cup area of one of them in order to play similarly, but itâs unlikely theyâd play similar anyways due to obvious material differences; much like how the Titanium Dream, Aluminum Dream, and Nightmare all play differently, despite having basically identical profiles.
I thought the same thing at first as well, but then I realized if it wasnât for the âwhy do you yoyoâ contest, I would have probably never made an account on here⌠So whatever happens, we at least may gain some people I would rather gain a few people that can keep the forums alive then limit a contest to only those who have been here for a bit (which would give me a better chance to win)

I just saw the 6 new colors online. Even though I voted purple, it was a little dark for my taste. The aqua however is beautiful. Preordered.

I thought they are not going to release all colors so they put up this poll.
It seems like they probably used it to decide the volume for each color instead.
