Yoyo, Yo-yo,Jojo, or Jo-jo?

When I’m looking for something on E-bay: yoyo, yo-yo, wood, wooden, hardwood, bc, maple. That’s what I’m looking for.

Kendama

sigh

yoyo

Pineapple…, wait, how did that get there?

In arabic it’s yu-yu or gizmah. It doesn’t really matter the correct term, I’m pretty sure we can all figure out what you’re talking about on a yoyo forum.

As already stated, current dictionary spelling is “yo-yo”, but I’m not a fan of the hyphen so I prefer “yoyo”.

This thread does remind me of a yoyo meet when a dude came up to us in the park and asked about our “joe-joes”.

Yo-yo is the proper spelling. The word “throw” I consider to be a slang term for the word yo-yo. I use that sometimes too.

Device or tool that requires skill to manipulate
