My wish list at the moment after my recent purchases :

  • Shutter (want to see what the hype is about)
  • A bi-metal yoyo (not sure what, hummingbird, Akita, butter?)
  • a small pink yoyo that only goes up and down for my 4 year old girl

is this close enough to pink?

This also looks really nice

  • The Shutter is simply a good, all-purpose monometal. Good, but not exceptional, at least in my view. It isn’t anything magical except in Gentry’s hands. It’s main claim to fame was being the first affordable (sub-$50) high-end monometal of its era. More than anything else the reason to get one today is to own a piece of yoyo history, IMO, and I say that as someone who owns six Shutters and a Wide Angle.
  • The bi-metal you want is a Hummingbird. I suggest this on the basis of a preference that I perceive you have for lighter yoyos. Plus, you like the Dove, so I think you’d be very happy with any of YoyoFriend’s other products, and the Hummingbird is their best normal-width competition-level throw, IMO.
  • Look for a pink Whip.
