I can still vaguely remember my naive days of thinking I was content with my collection.
Now my wish list of new green yo-yos grows daily like a bottomless pit.

Basically my daughter just wants to get involved as she see me when she wakes up at night obsessing over my yoyo tricks these days after she goes to sleep, and during the weekend when I think everyone is busy doing their thing.
In the end it has to be something she likes, although I feel like she will like the shutter wide angle the new pink as f edition lol.
I let her try on a FHZ with a super short string to fit her height. She finds it frustrating at the moment as she can’t quite get it up after it sleeps with her weak throw. So I was trying to find her one where it’s like those rubbish yoyos that can only go up and down and can’t sleep.

I’m going to wait until SRC yoyo contest just in case I see anything I can pick up there that fits her needs and design choice (basically pink, she’s in this pink phase the last month or two). If not I’ll add one on to my next yoyoexpert order

@MoonageMin this is the yoyo you want. This is the yoyo you need. It’s a Recess First Base - Nekyo Edition. I have one in blue sparkle and it looks amazing.
I’m going to get one for my son for Christmas (he loves pink).

If you want to reduce its sleep-ability, just put a thick string on and lube the (half-spec) bearing up with lots of thick lube.

or wrap the string around the axle a lot
or get the string stuck in the gap between the bearing and the yoyo
or just tie the string on the wrong way
You do realize that for as long as people have been trying to make their yoyos less responsive, we’ve discovered new and exciting ways to not get what we want?

My only yoyo related wish right now is to finalise a prototype I’ve been making for someone. The design is finalised, I just need to figure out my method to make it consistently because it’s a bit of a tricky one. Then, I’ll need to make a good number of them for Yoyoexpert. I NEED to finish them by about late January and get them shipped. Otherwise it won’t happen for another year.
That’s my ‘wish list’, so to speak. More of a goal.
