for most its unresponsive because with unresponsive you cant do all the cool tricks like lacerations and others
obviously most people are gonna say unresponsive.

But ya know, I find it fun to go back to my roots some times and play a good ol’ responsive fixed axle

I was the only one who voted for responsive. 
To me, un-responsive is only good for whips and slacks, although responsive can do those, it requires more practice to do it than un-responsive.
You can Bind with responsive, too, while spinning at low RPM’s.
Other than that, it’s good to have a tug Yo-Yo.
I grew up throwing responsive yoyos, so I will say responsive
Also, I throw 2A, so an unresponsive 2A yoyo would just be a disaster waiting to happen.

I like it in between where the yoyo will come back if there is enough slack but I can still do Lacerations. (The trick is to make it so that there is no string rolling into the yoyo when you do it)
If I were to choose, I would say unresponsive.
