Aside from the end of May, when do yoyo companies generally do sales or coupon codes? Wondering if I should hold out before placing an order.

Usually yoyoday, sometimes 4th of July, Halloween, black Friday, and Christmas/New Years.

Individual companies will also do B-Grade sale-a-thons here and there (YoyoFactory just did the A-May-Zing sale, CLYW throws out some Fool’s Gold in November from time to time, etc.). Best to follow your favorite companies on Instagram and wait for an announcement.
Site-wide sales like those here on YYE and other retailers are usually up to around 25% off, based on your cart total, so that will vary significantly. Always a wait-and-see scenario.
If you’re looking for something specific, deals are always to be found here from folks selling their personal throws.
