I’ve been experimenting with these heat-set inserts too. Any tips on how to get them in perfectly straight? I’ve been using a wood burning kit with a flat tip and just eye-balling it.

I just like minimalistic designs that have oomph.

I drew this one up today. 58mmX42mmX70.5g 7068 AL. Clean and powerful.

Working on a another design. This one is 52mm in diameter and about 50mm wide. Going to further refine it. Its a little too wide for my taste.

Getting back to designing yoyos and thought I’d share a couple here. Here’s an aluminum yoyo and a plastic yoyo I designed today
the aluminum is 58mm x 45mm at 64 g
the plastic is 60mm x 46mm at 63.5 g

Designed this tonight.

It’s a very powerful 6061 throw. 59mm diameter, 42mm wide and 68g. I will soften the outer edge a little tomorrow.

I’m no fan of outer rim bimetals, but gave it a try anyway, let’s see if this will see the light of day.

I feel like that needs an extra edge to make a bimetal noctu. @crackout

Hi everyone!
Does anyone here have extra time to check my CAD file for weight verification? My software was constantly crashing atm so maybe I could need a helping hand.

Thank you!

Send it my way, I’d be happy to help
