Sounds like I should try to design some kinda lightweight version of the caps, I like the added weight in 0a on the workhorse but for those that want lighter maybe I can design some “milling” to lighten it or something.

If you need a pig of the Guinea variety - I’ll just be over here jumping up and down waving my arms frantically! ROFL!

You have a great question on the Gap. I honestly dont know and cant find where we have that documented.

Stock is a 5mm D Bearing. I run a 4mm D Bearing and prefer the gap narrower. I will keep digging to see where the information on the Gap is.

DM me a email address for Mr. Jake to send the invoice to once we place the order.

From Mr. Jake - Operator changes were done, got rid of the wall after the undercut, and increased the rim weight slightly.

The ulitmate goal with the v.2 Prototype is to stabilize the yoyo a little more while still keeping the Shape and feel that we love in the v.1.

This is almost identical to what we did with the Workhorse. v.2 was VERY minor shifts in design that made a huge difference. It was very difficult to see the changes between the two designs on paper. Unless you know what you are looking for, it can be difficult with they yoyos side by side too.

Is the operator responsive/semi responsive or full unresponsive?

Unresponsive old school like organic yoyo with some modern tweaks.

It is our Full Unresponsive.

The concept of this throw is Resto-mod style. 2010 styling and feel with modern performance.

I like the Origen. MR85ZZ with an extra-large pad makes it dependably responsive.

I like the Origen too I just wish it wasn’t glossy

I don’t play my Origen very much anymore but it is a fun throw.

I’m telling you… some sort of blast finish would elevate the Origen to a whole new plane.

And price tag…

It is a great entry point yoyo currently.

This cap design got it down from 9 grams to 7.

I have a more extreme weight reduction attempt I’m testing next.

Would have barely cost any more to blast them.

And we are under 60 grams! (Barely :joy:)

I printed these in polycarbonate to make sure the spokes were really strong but I’m gonna print some in my usual HTPLA to see if they hold up in that too. Those ones may even be a hair lighter. Reminds me of a weird Duncan Wheel.

  1. That’s funny because when I saw the “light” purple ones - I thought “I wonder if they spoked it and removed the material entirely…” and then you did just that.

  2. Is that “clear” filament?

  3. If these play well and hold up well - I love that you still get to see some of the dope Space Wagon below it.

Another killer Andy Creation!

Yes that is a clear polycarbonate. It did come out fairly not clear in print. I’m probably gonna try an iron every layer version and see if I can get it to be actually clear.

Once I test the PLA version of the wagon wheel I’ll post files up for both.

Silly question but isn’t PC one of the materials that off gasses when printing or am I wrong on that? If it dies how are you venting/ scrubbing the air
