Yeah true, like Tom Kuhn “turbo discs”. Those are basically circular cloth tape stickers!

I think a cloth tape like 1st aid tape would work better as it would absorb the silicone better, stick it to some wax paper to protect the adhesive and squeegee the followable smooth and to a desired thickness. Cut out circles when it cures. Shouldn’t be to hard or messy.

We used to use hockey stick tape w/o anything added. Worked ok.

Also, fireballs and raiders need to be lubed regularly. Use a thicker oil like brain lube or 3-in-1 oil.

Ahh yeah I used to do that, then got tired of it. Also I misplaced my bottle somewhere…

Must use brain lube or responsive lube. I will say that the Yomegas of today seem to be made to a lower standard. I bought a x-brain and after a month it stripped out. Got a newer fireball and has same experience as you with the transaxle sliding from side to side like the axle was to long but using lube helped it.
