Hi all looking to find out yo-yo models that will take Duncan FH1 caps. Thanks in advance to all that comment.
I have a FH1 and an Atmos Khuno, looking to find out what else is out there. ![]()

gravity and ari both except caps.
Mk1 Unicorn
Dreamcraft Asora does as well
RSO Burger, Sushi, Gravity
Atmos Ari
Mk1 unicorn
Duncan/caribou peakhand
Metal spin gadget (spin gear)
Most Duncan freehand models (metal or plastic, with c bearings, like the nextgen and freehand pro)
Duncan Pro-z. Did the Hyabusa take freehand caps?
Yeah Hayabusa, and Hornet all all the capped Duncans are interchangeable. Duncan Raptor and Echo 1 and lots of random more forgotten models used the same caps too.
Turning Point Douska and Majiska immediately come to mind.
Duncan torque also compatible with the plastic caps
Thanks to all who have commented. I like the idea of the unicorn MK1 as its base weight of 56g will suit once caps are added.
The khuno I have becomes quite a different Yoyo once you add the caps. (Too heavy for my liking)
I think a bunch of Werrds do, like the Doomsday and Eighty Six 400. @KaKy might be able to confirm. Duncan Diversion takes caps too.
If you’re getting a Unicorn I think the different types of Unicorn caps look way better than Duncans
The Duncan Cap is the 48mm standard.
One of the first Non Duncan models was the Freerider from AnY

All Three Dreamcraft Asora versions are 48mm cap compatible
Asora V1 and Gravity Rings
Werrds you say, very interesting. Will look up some base weights. Cheers
Yeah I think the 86400 and doomsday can. I know the Werrd Hour also takes them too, I have at least one set up with caps.
Thanks, I only tried on the Doomsday and didn’t even want to press the caps right in without having a non-destructive way to get them out again
