I still cant get over hajime miura’s 3 switch ups…

Must be rlly heartbreaking for him, he had such of a long win streak until now
And all of that practice that he had to put into that routine

Hajime is still king no matter what in my eyes… it’s not hard to tell that his tricks are just totally a cut above the rest. And he has the track record to prove it. Sure, the switchouts were heartbreaking to watch, it literally felt like watching your favorite character on TV die or something, but he’s still GOATed.

1A is absolutely stacked as hell and maybe the closest it’s ever been. Genuinely could go Mir OR Jakub’s way, I’m excited to see who it will end up being between the two. Most SURPRISING routine was absolutely Jonathan Sittangang… totally wild improvement from all previous routines I’ve seen from him and 100% a podium contender.

Absolutely agree with all of your post, especially this part.

Loved his semi final, and was super glad to see his final go so well.

It’s like it was entirely composed of that one risky trick that someone puts in towards the end of their freestyle, knowing they probably won’t hit it. Except he hit almost all of them.

And of course his stage presence and musical cues were on point.

We need more people like him in yo-yo.

It was just sad watching him untie the knots on his yoyo after the third.

Love to Hajime!

But let’s respect Minato Furuta win cuz it is really superb. He really proves himself that age is just number if you put in the effort and re-claim the 3A Champion since 2010, this makes him join the 2x champion group.

To me watching Minato compete along with Hajime and Mizuki makes really good scene of founding YYR team member vs YYR young talent.

It’s time for YYR to revive and develop the new StarGeyser.

Anyone know why they never mention yoyorecreation as the sponsor for Nakamura and Hajime?

yoyorecreation didn’t sponsor Worlds, so announcements are prob based off of if they sponsored. also why you don’t see Empathy

I really only watched the 1A finals, but man was that division stacked from top to bottom. So many great freestyles. I know I will be watching several of them multiple times when they get uploaded, especially Miri Kim, Daniel Kim, and Jonathan Sitanggang.

100% I agree! I respect Hajime and love that he just went for it anyways like the tricks he was doing were so risky and difficult and it just didn’t pay off this time. I loved how he came out with such a fast and intense pace right away. But very cool to see Minato hit such a clean 3 minutes and I also absolutely loved Soras performance! Hah! I love 3a so much lol such a cool and exciting comp division and style.
