what is the difference between the wooly markmont and a markmont next?

It’s pretty evident just from looking at them. The nickel plating and the brass dome hub are really the only things these yo-yos have in common. You can find quite a bit more details with a little bit of research.

the markmont.next is mark montgomery signature yoyo

the wooly markmont is a wooly marmot (which, I believe is jensen kimmit’s signature model) with the markmont axle and bearing (or, as many say, "it’s a marmot with markmont’s nuts)

both are nickel plated, but I’m not sure you’ll be able to find anymore wooly markmont as they were limited editions.

I got both (big fan of nickel plated) and they don’t play the same, both are worth buying, if you want to do grinds, go for the wooly markmont, if you don’t care about grinds, buy the one you like best, or both.
