What was the idea and goal when you guys start doing Scales? Was it just trying to collect information as a news platform or something else?

Initially Scales was a strictly competitive hivemind. We started in January 2015 and mainly worked together on freestyle construction/learning how to judge. Starting in October 2016 we started doing the Podcast, and this year we started consistently doing the live stream.
