Why is "H" shape relatively uncommon today?

I like the Borealis 2 and that’s pretty H shape, I think H is really good for fast play since it catches the string so well

I believe we call that a rotated H, like

Some like to call it a capital I, but that would be technically incorrect.

By your definition @codinghorror wouldn’t the gradient be h shape?

Well, nobody elected me the king of determining yo-yo shapes… yet :crown:

I will say that inverted organic from the bearing outward is, in my opinion, indeed the core of what makes H … an H … per previous discussion above

Alex is also an MIT trained engineer, and Battlebot competitor. To say Alex is a smart guy who knows a good playing yoyo is probably an understatement.

Lesula plays really nice… has become one .if my regular. Takes a few throws to get used to catching ir but it’s very stable and i can land everything with it. I grab it a lot too learn something new.

How’d you like the Lesula?

sum might argue, but i think that the SF PLSTC is an h-shape

H is my favorite shape! With the growth of popularity in bi-metals I don’t think we will be seeing many new H shaped yoyos any time soon.

Some of my favorite bi-metals are H-shaped, so sometimes you don’t even have to choose between the two.

Mo once again, saves the day.

Major problem with shape identity?

Simple solution.

I didn’t get my P.H.Dumb degree from M.Y.O.W.N Institute for nothing.

It cost me plenty.

You want H shape. You got H shape.

Use my system and never look back.
