Why do you love organics?

Its all about the feels. The sensitivity of plane management is more engaging like driving a manual transmission. Once you get comfortable, this creates a layer of smoothness that you can sense with every breath, similar to what a runner may call “runners high”. Those moments of float can be addictive and center weighted organics have a nice loose feel to them.

There was a discussion in The Current Learning Curve ( 2025) that @mable brought up about “In-Mount” vs “Laceration Style” directional concepts. These tricks that you mentioned neck stole, 2.0 hooks, 360 tricks and DNA would fall under this “Laceration Style”. Where tricks like “Rancid Milk” would be “In-Mount”. All could be done on any “Modern Yoyo” however they will feel different pending your yoyo of choice. Wide performance Bi-Metals I feel, tend to feel Stiff, they also make some elements to learn easier, like “Laceration Style”. Organics on the other hand might not have the stability or spin times, but make regenerations easier and more controllable as they flip easier, using regens can be a technique to keep combos going.

This was a-RT’s mission statement and gets into design philosophy.
