I beefcaked my duncan freehand 2 and it won’t bind. I’m using homemade friction stickers out of electrical tape, but when I reverse the mod, it works again. Do I have to put real friction stickers or leave the yoyo how it is.
The gap is most likely too wide. That combined with the minimal grabby-ness or the makeshift stickers could be causing issues.
I think so, But I don’t want to have to wait for silicone stickers, that’s all.
You can try putting a few layers of the friction stickers to increase the thickness of the response.
No you just need to take that second bearing out. The gap can be only so big then it stops working.
