Haha, that was a great time indeed! We had a blast, just like every tournament we get to meet up. Bummed I missed you and others at Nats (best man in my brother’s wedding :-\ ).
It’s been too long, we need to get together again. Miss ya brother!
For those of you that don’t know, Ernie’s one of the most legit, sincere, and kind individuals you’ll ever have the pleasure/honor of meeting. Take my word for it.
Good to see you on the forum Justin, old pal.
Things have changed since the crazy yoyonation days.
Let me know when you want to break out the ano bath again …haha
That’s the truest story that can be told about Ernie! The guy is an amazing individual and I cannot say enough awesome stuff about the guy! He is one if those guys that how above and beyond the call of duty and so willing to help out where he can and just is an all around honorable guy. and a wedding is a worthy cause for missing Nats I’d say! 8)
Good luck bud. I have contacts on contacts in the General Yo collector scene, and this yoyo is darn near impossible to dislodge from people. They just don’t hit the market.
I have sold GenYos in the past and always regretted it. Recently I’ve had people offer me excellent money for pieces in my collection but I just can’t let them go. Everything has a price but the USA Hatrick is close to priceless to me.
See I can just general yo’s are going to be the 59 les Paul eventually. In 20 years after we all may be done yoyoing those are out of date. They will be the holy grail found in the back of closets.
I regret all the General Yo’s I’ve sold too. Let go a KLR, Purple Mountain Majesty, and pre pro Majesty v2… The KLR and Purple Mountain are two of my favorite all time yoyos i want them back soooooooooooooo bad.
As you can see, when a General Yo is sold, there is usually a bit of Seller’s Remorse. Sure, a nice bit of cash is swell and all, but say goodbye to your yoyo cuz chances are ya ain’t gettin’ one like it ever again lol
I have had a lot of people ask about selling mine the past few weeks, can’t see parting with my USA Hatrick though… I sure do miss my Magnum big time!! Some regret there… :-[
Holding onto the rest of my General Yo stuff for now…!
