I plan on another run, still figuring everything out. I’m glad you enjoy it so much.
Man… make me miss the 86 I had
What a beauty! I’ve considered seeking out a Daytona SE so many times. I really think it would be the perfect pocket throw… but then I remember the specs are so similar to the Ditch, which I love. How are you liking it so far?
This… is the most amazing thing I’ve ever heard. ![]()

Seriously though, the Dreamland is such a phenomenon and I had all but given up hope of ever attaining another. I treasure the one I have and I don’t baby it so I know it won’t last forever. Still though, mine plays absolutely perfect even after a few good collisions with the “carpeted” floor. Your news of plans for a future run make me feel like an appreciation thread is in order. I’m not sure how many people have actually tried a Dreamland though. I would say if you haven’t… it’s all in the name…
I will be excited to snag one
Puffin OG, Irony JP, Wooly Marmot 2, Canvas. In that order
I’ve seen two sold second hand on Japanese sites, but they were gone before I had time to purchase them. Definitely the hardest to get Hydrangea throw.
Awhile back (waaay back) you asked me if I ever owned one of these. I I couldn’t recall then, but seeing yours jogged my memory. I had a green one with brown rims. Sold it a long time ago.

Yoyofactory Grind Mutant 2
I miss the 2007 era
There’s a dude on fb getting rid of a mutant 2 for about 5-600
my collection wishlist is extensive, and focuses on obscure shape and colors or themes so its mostly old stuff thats does not come often.
still hunting for æ kappa or centerpiece throws release, others mentioned above at reasonable (for yoyos
) price. so things like peak or draupnir dont make sense to me.
but if i had to name my unobtainium it’d be this one out of nine or so colorways of a budget yoyo
the jazz-yo genbu in radial rainbow cracks
all other colorways were done by others, but i never saw anything similar to these images.
link? curious more than anything
$500-600 is a lot for a Grind Mutant 2. I sold mine back in 2020 for about $350 and it sat for a bit. $500-$600 in a dead yo-yo market seems a little crazy
Also for anyone interested the grind mutant 2 is just an ok player. The g5 and the grind machine 2 just fixed the issues with the mutant. The first problem is it only takes .555 pads and the recess wasn’t deep enough for silicone. Second issue was it had a permanent axle that was only slightly smaller than the inner part of the bearing seat. Finally it just needed a little extra rim weight in general. It just lacked spin time.
Yeah I wouldn’t pay that but it and the GM2 are icons of the early metal era. Be cool if they reissued like with the GMs.
Alnilam is the goat of yoyos
