I think (I say that because I am not rash enough to state a FACT about something I do not own) that a SPYY Punch Line would fit your preferences just fine. It may be difficult to find one but I think the hunt will indeed pay off.
Also, a CLYW Bassalope, Bear vs Man, or Wooly Marmot would all also fit within your price range and your preferences, I am unsure of how difficult it would be to locate one but again I have heard nothing but good things about these throws.
888x is a yoyo that I personally own and it is in a class of its own. I like the shape, size, weight and smoothness. The best thing about it imo is that it has a good solid feel in your hand.
In the end it is up to you but I would suggest adding a few more throws to your poll if you are truly going to be influenced by the community here, regardless I suggest checking the yoyos I posted about for yourself, remember an educated decision is the best kind of decision.
I hope this helped, and good luck.
I reocmmend a BOSS, P2, or Wooly Marmot. An 888 felt like a brick for me, nothing special. I have not tried the punchline but it sounds good. The BOSS is really smooth and has the perfect weight distrubution in my opinion. The P2 is a bit on the heavy side but the grinds are amazing and I like ti for smooth play. The wooly marmot has my favorite shape and is floaty and smooth.
get a CLYW from their site, they have some bassalopes and a few marmots left.
I like the small yoyo’s too. i use a dingo just because that reason. defiantly my favorite yoyo out of my collection (I have the 888, dingo is much better than it)
