Hey guys I’ve been wondering what happened to hybrid response yoyos. Are they obsolete now? I think I’ll be picking up a YYJ Kickside soon and got to thinking, is the hybrid response totally lost in this day in age of yoyos? I don’t think Ive seen anyone actually using hybrid response in all the time I’ve been here on YYE.
For the most part, yes. The same kind of excellent response can now be found with silicone pads. Making a half pad-half starburst hybrid system obsolete.
They are a bit more grippy than the now standard silicone responce. Most of the hybrid responce that I see is an O-ring and starburst. They are definitly obselete allthough I do still use the same responce on my dark magic and still love it.
