I cleaned my CLYW Campfire and it became responsive. This has happened to all the yoyo’s I clean. I follow every direction, but it always comes out wrong.
-Open up bearing
-Put in mineral spirits for 5 mins
-Take out and spin dry
-Apply one drop of thin lube.
It’s extremely annoying. Whenever I attempt a trick with a pop, the yoyo smashes against my knuckles. It’s also so responsive I can’t do grinds. The strings curl up and twist my fingers around.
One drop, meaning one WHOLE drop?
That’s way too much.
You need about 1/8 of an actual drop.
A pin or needle will come in handy. Just pour a drop over the pin and majority of the oil drop will fall off, leaving a minuscule portion on the needle tip. Apply that on the bearing instead of the whole drop out of the bottle.
