What's your one "trusty" yoyo?

My One Drop YFactor has quite literally been through everything with me. I’ve dinged it at least 300-400 times and it still plays smoother than most of the new yoyos I’ve played and own. I throw it every single day and have never, ever had more fun with a yoyo. It has been in my pocket during the most important moments in my life and I’ve thrown it whilst experiencing an incredible range of emotions. I don’t think I’d ever sell it, no matter the price.

I think we need to see a picture of that bad boy!!! A well loved and used throw always looks great!!

We all have that yoyo that we can count on. It can do all our tricks, it doesn’t have any problems doing it what we want it to do… We take it everywhere, and if it gets dented, it’s not that big of a deal. If you had to do a competition right now, you would take it up there. It doesn’t necessarily have to be your favorite throw but the throw you can count and the throw you trust.

For me, it’s my CLYW Avalanche. It does everything I want it to and outperforms most yoyos I’ve tried. It has some love marks all over so I don’t mind taking it out in public to throw and mess around with. It’s my trusty yoyo. What’s yours?

This freaked me out because just reading the title this is the YoYo Of mine I thought of, lol. My Matterhorn Avalanche gets played the most. I’ve got over 70 CLYWs (9 of them Avalanches) and I lovem All, but this is special.

I read the first paragraph and thought: “My Matterhorn Avalanche, of course!”
Then I saw what you put and I freaked out.

Everyone here uses Metal’s as their trusty throws, jeez, mine is the first yoyo I ever bought that was a “real” yoyo, my YYF Northstar. Like honestly I love it to death, it’s the best throw ever, it’s got quite a few love marks.

YYF 44. I generally don’t even play that many undersized or YYF throws, but it’s comfortable, it flat out works. Never even thought about quitting on me. Been through 3 axles, it’s beaten to complete junk, but it’s my baby and I love that throw. Never lets me down.

I have two. This guy. While it doesn’t have the spike that I like, the Burnside is just an all around player that I take all over the place.

And This guy. The 54 has that classic feel and is just smooth as butter. The finish on this particular 54 was a complete accident but it grinds better than every other 54 with the exception of the Orange Peel finish.

Yeah! Bringing out the plastics! I hear ya man!! My favorite go-to is my Starlite, its the most interesting yoyo I own, (because it glows in the dark).

But if you don’t want me to submit my most interesting… Then it’d still be a plastic, my grind machine!! I love fooling around with the stacks…

For my most reliable throw, I would have to choose my Freq.wav. It’s survived coming unscrewed and going flying onto a tile floor, and I’ve been through a lot with it. All it needs are some new thick Hat Pads. But for honorable mentions, my MVP, Glacier Express, and Alpha Crash are also very reliable, but I just haven’t owned them for more than a week.
