@Mediumwell Dayum!
Just got future use if you go on buyee you can get them for cheaper
The eBay listings are just Mercari relistings at higher prices
Thank you ive already found a few really good deals on some that i plan to buy
Thats beautiful
Just about a perfect Yo-Yo, heirloom piece.
Luftverk Acadia bimetal, got it in perfect condition for $320 shipped. Funny how 4 months ago me would have laughed at current me for spending more than $50 for a toy…
@tigerbeatt When and where did that Peak get sold originally? Do you know any of the history behind that yoyo?
@vegabomb That peak was one of early 2nd run peaks sold on ebay. Especially mine is sixth round #12 originally listed at July 16th 2008. You can find this in peak history thread😉
I’m not sure who it was originally sold to. I purchased it from YYB in the fall of 2020 and sold it to @tigerbeatt a couple weeks ago. Would also love to know where it was before
I guess my assumption is correct lol, you seems to own each and every Peak that is available lol
Maybe too close to the Sliver?
I dont think so. The Sliver is a different animal. Smaller diameter, heavier, slightly wider and a different gap area.
Metal Harbinger still wins between these two in my opinion.
Have fun.
I’m glad you’re enjoying the prototype metal harbinger!
It’s still on my radar, but we haven’t worked on updating the design for it recently as I’ve been busy with other releases/designs the past half year or so.
Mr. Mark,
I know I don’t have a lot of clout yet, but this may be something you and Mr. Glen may want to revisit.
It is a unique model compared to other yoyos out there.
Comparing the Sliver to the Harbinger. I find the Sliver to lean more to the 1A side. With the wider gap, it is more tolerant of 1A than the Harbinger.
But in the same Breath, the Harbinger is a Metal 0A machine. I am not sure what sorcery you used to get something this “Large” so light. But it is one of my favorite throws next to the RBC. You guys really have something with the M85 Bearing system and these Modern Responsive designs.
Have Fun.
on the radar is good. that means hope. Also Happy Birthday Mark.
