i have had situations lately were my parents ask me “whats so good about the yoyo, why do you like it so much” and i go “uhhhhhhhhhh” but after some thinking ive found some reasons and im wondering what are yours what reasons do all of you have for likeing the yoyo so much?
The coating on a yoyo may be pleasant to the touch. The colors may be appealing. It may have a nice sound to it while flowing through a trick. Maybe it’s super smooth (or slightly not so smooth) and you like that characteristic about it… Lots of reasons
My Mom is like that all the time. She says, “Whats so great about that yoyo? It looks like all your other ones. Why can’t you just have One yoyo? I see you do the Same things with every yoyo you buy!” Its So Aggravating. One Time my Cousin broke the bearing of my Severe, and his Mom got Mad at ME! She was all like, “The yoyo does Not seemed Damaged! Its Perfectly Fine! You are just Over Exaggerating, he didn’t break it!” So Annoying! Iv Tried to Explain to them a Billion Times, but they just keep on arguing with me. STUPID!

I just detail the process of making yoyos (metals, at least), and my mom tends to say “ok i get it. I’ll let you buy that new one.” 
My personal reasons: Different yoyos play differently. The feel different. They look different. Some are made for different types of play.
You can do the same and ask “What’s so good about (What your mum usually does for leisure)?”

I’m attracted to clear dice because they look fresh and pures because of how curved the catch zone is (INCREDIBLY CURVED!!!)
lol, then you can explain to her, telling her that her answer to that question is the same as your answer to her question. That solves the problem!

Yoyoing hasn’t done alot for me as far as friends, but it’s changed my life.
As for my mom, I don’t have to explain. Usually, if I have the money, she’ll buy it.
I yo-yo because it is fun,you learn new tricks,you meet a lot of people,you can always get new ones they look cool and many mor reasons.
my mom always asks me why i need so many different ones. i cant believe i used this metaphore, but i did
why do dogs need to smell other dogs butts. i would think all butts smell the same, but maybe they don’t.
also, the internal one, it is funny, because that happened to me. but my mom’s iphone was broken and she asked me to look at it. i looked at it and said “it looks fine, i dont see anything wrong”
she was like “max, it isn’t turning on. something is wrong.”
i told her it looked fine, so it must be fine, like my yoyo, she said it looked fine, so there must be nothing wrong. she told me that that was totally different. tisk tisk
My parents never really say “What’s so good about that yoyo”. My dad asked me to try mine once and when he couldn’t get back up to his hand i had to explain unresponsive play, then he told me a story about how it was harder to do tricks back in his day when they only had fixed axle yoyo’s. As for my mom she only asks i don’t hit her furniture
