They haven’t been very active lately.
They just released a titanium YoYo and have two bimetals coming out!
Back in April, they also had a couple of short runs of yoyos made (10 each) of the Lightning and Thunder.
The Lightning was an homage to an old company AnY and their Air Rider model, one of Frank’s favorite designs. Very similar in shape, narrow width, and even has an IRG to do thumb grinds, the lightning is an old school type of throw.
The Thunder was an homage to SPYY’s Radian, a favorite of Dominik’s. They made a few tweaks to the design, but it was another awesome result.
I love them both.

MikeEff you mentioned the air rider… that was the first competitive yoyo i ever saw… do you know how i might be able to find one.
I also got them. The Lightning is really nice as long as you can keep up the high rpm. kindly Dominik equipped it with an concave bearing. as an late entry player with interest in classic models i had to hook up the chance to get them.
for the lightning you can ask dominik himself, get the contact @ ILYY.de website. sometimes he has some yoyos around. i for myself always ask himself for deals and frequently watch their HP an Forum for annoucements.
What happened? Well, both have full-time jobs now, so yo-yos got a bit out of focus. Plus, ILYY really never had the plan to become big, but basically a ±zero hobby for both of them.

Which looks great. You can definitely see the ILYY influence in the design.
It’s indeed true that both Frank and I are pretty busy right now.
That’s one of the reasons we ramped down our yoyo output.
But that doesn’t mean we’re stopping. We have some realses planned for 2016. The first being a double release of our brand new bi-metal yoyos (Prometheus & Abyss). We’ve been working on these for quite a while now (about 7 months). The “soon” is nigh though, as we got the finished halves in our hands. It’s only a matter of finding time to assemble and QC them.

I clicked on this thread not expecting anything, but wow. So much cool stuff to see. I didn’t know about the thunder and the lightning. wow those look great. I really liked the any air rider.
