What to use to strip the ano?

I for one use 80 grit paper on woodworking projects around the house.

I would never use it on a yoyo and certainly wouldn’t tell someone I did.

When something takes only minutes to do…well you know where I’m going with this.

Ok, I only used it to scratch the surface. I used finer grits to polish it up (Obviously). I really don’t see how it can possibly be any worse than oven cleaner.

So much to teach so little time!!

I have a feeling most people have had some bad experiences with oven cleaner. Most likely from lack of experience.

If you can strip a yoyo with oven cleaner and go right to polish with no paper ever touching the yoyo then there is NO way paper is as bad as oc.

Steel wool then mothers I think, doesn’t really create a complete mirror finish, but with a powder over it you wouldn’t notice as much.

Have you seen his polishs? They are CRAZY good, especially for chemicals. I would say they are near yours, but not as good.d

Spirits are better when it comes to straight up polish. The fine stuff under the powder leaves when coated, you won’t see it that is.
