Like I say, I think there is room for debate in there. I’m just stating where my personal “line” is.
To be honest, I suspect for a lot of people, price has as much to do with it as specific construction. The Protostar probably feels a lot more like a “plastic” at its current $15 price than it did when it was $35.

I adore plastic yoyos. I love them all but my favorite will always be the Protostar. There are better yoyos but the Protostar will live as the best platic yoyo ever created in the history of everything imo.
