I always thought of the OG Draupnir as a floaty yo-yo. That is 7075 and SS rims.
But I tend to agree that float can be more easily found on the lighter size of the weight range.
I also agree with Haru’s comment on the YYJ New Breed. Probably the first truly floaty throw I ever had.

Of all the yo-yos with an easily affordable price tag, the unprld METHOD seemed to float the best.

Yoyojam patriot. It set the standard for how i judge floatiness. There are floatier yoyos, but this is my goat.
