MYY N11. I have a few of those. I like them a lot. The shiny finish is eh but it plays awesome. I never use the weight rings. I never felt it needed them.
The Grail might be the best organic. I feel like the Diptych comes really close.
I think the magic comes from the way that A-RT places the weight in the center of the yoyo. This is probably why I didnāt like the Life as much with its completely flat cup.
I just pulled out my Life for the first time in a while, and suddenly found my love for it. It is so good!
I like the MMC (Whereās @zslane to correct us all ? I guess you can only fight the public for so longā¦), but havenāt found the love for it yet. I know itās one of the best though, just not one of my go-tos.
Itās @codinghorror who has the bugaboo about MMC vs MC, not me.
Of course, if you twist my arm I would concede a preference for MC only because thatās what Mark himself calls it. But for the most part I donāt really care one way or the other; we all know what MMC refers to, so Iām content to let others tilt at that windmill.
But the Karma is not an Organicā¦
Vorganic?
Vee-ganic
Voluptuousā¦if you are into that kinda thing
No, itās someone else. Thatās not me.
where are all my mmc lovers at!? your throw is mehā¦ The Life and the batsquatch are dope though.
The MC is OK. I donāt understand all the fuss about it. Itās a good yoyo, just not amazing.
The MC was way ahead of its time, being released in 2014. I would argue that it holds its own as probably the most competition capable of any pure organic on the market. My MC spins longer than my Batsquatch.
While itās not my #1 organic, itās definitely top 5. Probably one of the most recognized and iconic yoyos ever made.
I actually sold mine in favor of the Onedrop Gauntlet and put many hours into both before parting with the MC
Chris of high-speed yoyo said in his review that the Gauntlet and MMC were basically exchangeable in his opinion, implying that the Gauntlet managed to capture a very similar vibe to the MMC. I have tried both but only have the MMC, but I really think both are remarkably good throws. However, the MMC seems so widely loved, how many other yoyos released in 2014 are still talked about to this extent?
I mean best is subjective, the best performance wise would probably go to the grail. My personal choice to throw the majority of the time is an old 888. Also going to shout out the Your Momā¦ a surprisingly strong O shape
A slightly modified organic yoyo.
How is this ahead of its time in 2014, when many yoyos before that were organic?
I wasnāt insinuating that it was the first organic yoyo. How many yoyos made in 2014 are still actively being produced and sold? I wouldnāt think that there are that many, but the MC is one of them. And itās still just as good, if not arguably better than many in the same category.
I can think of a yoyo from 2013
Consistent runs from 2013-2020? Or several runs, then a multi-year hiatus, and then a final run for nostalgia?
Shutter?
