Been throwing these for fun
From left to right: Hyper Russel - My very first yoyo I ever got at Ala Moana shopping center in Hawaii in 1998. It is broken inside but still can be used! The yoyo that started it all for me.
Next was a random ebay find I acquired back in 2019 so I could have a non broken version to use.
Last two are new ones I got on eBay just last week!

The Static Co. Wave is a really really nice and capable high wall slimline throw. Highly recommend it. And there are still some available at a retailer in the States.

Got home tonight and finished cleaning up my budget find. The bearing was pretty wasted and the pads were shot. I replaced the pads with some Duncan SG pads that sit a little proud and then put in a slim 4mm D bearing. I got some budget A bearings from the rain forest site, cleaned the lube out of them and threw on some hubstacks. Put on a fresh string and gave it a throw. It plays pretty responsive with a light tug but still sleeps well. Did some pull starts and it spins as good as my confusion. All in all I’m happy with it. Doesn’t look to bad either but I may swap the white caps for black down the road.
