I’m throwing my Dressel Designs Assassin.

I love it how it’s only 59g and feels solid. Small yoyo design at its finest, @hobbygod.

Curious as to who gets V4M in that 6 pack. Nice lot btw.

Got this for yoyo day. If you struggle with landing fingerspins, this thing will fix that. Its pretty amazing how easy it is with this yoyo. Only negative for me is it doesn’t reject well in magic drop with my current technique. I have the same problem with most yoyos of this general shape…

My entire squad gets V4M.

I wish I had the regular cap though instead of this. I always keep it in a small sandwich bag to prevent leaks in my case. I feel like the regular cap would be secure enough that an extra bag wouldn’t be required.

I wish my yoyojam and monkeyfinger lube came with needle nose caps, would be so much easier to apply.

Also, speaking of the yoyojam lube, do you think oils break down after a while? don’t know much about machine oil to know. it’s like 17 years old now.

The needle nose applicator is definitely great if you aren’t transporting your lube. Just one actual drop and you’re good to go.

I don’t know anything about the chemistry side of things, but in terms of practical function I’d say the shelf life on lube is insanely long. I use actual vintage 20+ year old brain lube on my loopers and it works perfectly for me.

Generally I’ve read that the minimum shelf life of silicone grease and oil is 5 years. Checking for separation is the biggest thing and shaking older lube before use should help with that. Seeing as these are synthetic lubricants and we aren’t using them in high heat or rpm applications there isn’t much of an issue compared to let’s say using 10 year old oil in a car engine or old lubricant in a bearing used in manufacturing.

Heck seeing as we are all looking for just the protection and noise reduction effects in our thin lube with as little reduction in performance as possible older lube might be better in yoyo. Old Thick lube on the other hand might have to use more to get the desired effect.

Yeah that’s what I figured in terms of separation being an indicator of spoilage, so far both are perfect no seperation at all, and still feel slick to the touch.

We might be seeing a new thing to trade in the future, vintage oil!

Weird I have never had any issue with the needle V4M leaking, nor have I ever felt like that was going to happen. The rubber cap on mine is super tight.
