Today I took a handful of plastic mostly oversized yo-yos out with the kids to the elementary school to ride bikes and scooters and such around the parking lot. The day dream got some concrete time with the kids who wanted to play with it so did the imperial.

The Good Life Valley is a nice pocket throw for me, as has a 53mm diameter which seems to be a favorite of mine. The little bump in the middle of the cup means that I can get some pretty good finger spins with it as long as I throw it at a bit of an angle. If I carry one out of the house, then I take the Red/Gold splash one since I don’t mind if that one gets scratched by my keys. But I keep the Hibiscus Fade at home because I don’t want to get it scratched up. The fade is pretty subtle, but it gives it a nice 3D metallic look when spinning.

That Hibiscus fade is beautiful! I love my valley too. It actually surprised me how well it can fingerspin. Also, my black and gold cosmos ano makes it harder to see all the nice cuts on the inside. Looks really good.

Back in the day (Which was a Wednesday), in the days of YoyoJam, it was about spacers, removing O-Ring Response, and striving for unresponsive play.
We now have the Hybrid Fluvia as a throw back to those days (Which was a Wednesday). But this Yoyo comes unresponsive, no added work.
I have half speced mine… Blasphemy… playing it responsive. Really enjoying it!

Throwing aster for a bit before I finish packing for the honeymoon! Funny story from the wedding—a family friend of my wife came with her fiancé and he used to throw yo-yos a bunch! I showed off the few I had with me and we put on a little show for some of the guests(kinda had too because my wife brought up in her vows how passionate I can be and it was in a couple speeches too), basically just Eli hopping and some simple stuff but it was fun! I’m going to get him a shfx for his wedding in august bc he liked the speedaholic and nucleon a lot and was blown away by how good yo-yos are now. Stoked to meet another player randomly and we had an instant bond hah!

I think we will keep the fade-style for this model.
Colors will most certainly be different, however the fade will still be subtle.
