I’m going back & forth between this Confusion and Butterfly AL
Got this 09 Severe recently. It doesn’t hold up as well as some other classic YYF, but I’m still really enjoying it. Plastic caps on metal bodies are nice.
I need to get a Fast 201 or something for a cap swap. I wanna remove the logo, but I’m not going to ruin the caps of of OG Severe. The art is good, it’s just a bit too much for me aesthetically with this loud of a splash underneath.
I made (as close to) matching strings for my cerakote ODs. Loving the look, I’m definitely gonna make some very weak neon green dye to see what happens if I dip the string in that. Hopefully it’ll make it match even more.
I don’t think I can get anywhere near the Wyvern’s shifting but maybe I could do a fade. I need to see if they have dyes close to its colors because matching them by mixing red blue and yellow would be hard. I could probably do it but it’ll take a while.
Ultra grey silicone feeling great in these!
A yoyo this nice really needs a nicer CW. Linear by @JEA86 out in the west village.
Looking good my friend
got the grasshopper gtx 2 a couple days ago, it is extremely good. st elmo and informel for 5a. got a candy die and squakon so i could have a couple more 5a setups.
I have one coming today lol, couldn’t resist getting one. It does look extremely fun to throw
A black St Elmo, very nice. I’m somewhat jealous at this moment
Waiting on my Turbo Grind Machine that’s still seemingly sitting in AZ/hasn’t left after almost a week of placing the order…
To ease the frustrations, got this with me today.
Playing some steel and brass today! Love the unique feeling of these guys.
If you’re looking for something competitive pickup a lisianthus, or go with a thorest to save some money. The bowl 303 is just a fun organic with surprisingly good spin times. The lycoris is for those who like slimmer yoyos that are nice and easy to pickup and throw. The one drop clique 1.5 is easily the best mini yoyo I’ve ever tried and was just so well scaled. The St eel is close by but because it’s a bit thinner it has a denser feel. Finally the yoyomonster 3 points is surprisingly usable for something is small. Definitely a gimmick but a cool one!
Forgot my geisha but that was my first full sized steel throw and gives my base comparison for other steel throws.
Did you pick up a Uracsus?
I have one on the way! @OhDavidBowie
Nice! I’ve got one on the way too. Can’t wait, it’ll be my first steel yoyo
