She was really excited when I facetime’d her to open the package, we spent some time on the phone and I showed her some tricks with the new yoyo. Was really nice, and I could tell she was happy to give me a toy lol

I have the same colorway. It’s probably me (maybe?) but it seems like it runs out of steam way before most of my other yoyos so short combos are okay but anything longer and it seems like it says “I’ll do my best with your bind but I’m really tired so don’t expect a snappy bind…cough…pant…”

I haven’t noticed that yet, but I did notice a little snagging at times, even with the really thin string it comes with. Maybe the response pads stick out ever so slightly causing some extra friction?

I had to switch to the RCS slim Socchi, it performed a lot better after that.
I have some Sinister Cephalopod slim nylon I need to try with it, too.

Olive Markmont. Classic Magnum Opus.
Per Mark’s advice, I put a nice little scratch 
in it this morning (should’ve taken my watch off) so I don’t have to try to keep it perfect. Got this sweet orange Slicc string from BadWolfCo yesterday, and it is a perfect contrast.
