Just look at that color! I love it so much, and they feel fantastic! Thank you @BadWolfeCo I’ll hopefully order more in the future!
How does it play?
I never need to post what I get in the mail because half the time you got the same exact throws ha!
LMAO seems like you and I have pretty good taste then! I’ll just start tagging you in my mail day posts from now on and say “@kangusmangus probably got one of these too”
Good choice.
Nice! You took my suggestion
Very jealous of this one nice score!
Had to grab the last available teal Free Solo, it was calling out to me. This is my third FS, and it won’t be my last, as it’s my favorite monometal by quite a bit. Love how much the color pops in this one - looks refreshing almost.
Yeah, that’s why I couldn’t believe Lairus is a bimetal the first time i got it.
Thought it was a mono with extra steroid lol
CLYW Dune and some Sinister Cephalopod strings! The throw is beautiful and the strings are amazing, so soft and whippy and hold slacks nicely. Took the message on the very neat card to heart. I tidied the desk a bit and took some pics of the throws I keep displayed on it.
Looks neat! Nice display
How is it?
Is this a preorder, or did markmont release it on the shop already?
It is super stable. Narrow for its diameter which I like. Not the fastest but can be pushed decently so. It has all the performance of a TP bimetal I’d say if you’ve ever played one of those. It seems way more durable than other SS rim bimetals, though I don’t know for sure. It is absolutely beautiful with the raw finish. Is it worth $300? Eh, I don’t think that a $50 premium over a Draupnir is unreasonable considering the unique chemical fusing of the Al and SS. So worth for a Japanese bimetal, but obviously way overpriced compared to a Yoyofactory.
edit: Also it needs to be mentioned it has some vibe, it’s not bad and is understandable considering how it wasn’t made like a normal bimetal.
