Interesting, the Thunder has nearly identical specs to the Radian Gen 2, only being slightly slimmer (40mm Thunder vs 40.6mm RG2), I guess that’s adding to the hefty feel. Wonder how it compares to the MKII then, that’s a very hefty (for these days) solid feeling yo-yo (68.5g) and they share the same width/diameter while the MKII is 2.2g heavier (not to mention the MKII is what the Thunder is based on).

it’s not magnitudes more difference, but i will also add i am playing a swapped yye only release / other run… (and different sili on both sides), so whether or not that is contributing is debatable lol

I was so excited when I ordered the Stegosaurus edition First Base that I immediately started thinking about grabbing the Pterodactyl one too. Luckily my girlfriend picked up on those thoughts and ended up ordering the Pterodactyl one for me! She even upgraded the shipping so it would get here before the other one!

I have the orange too but never felt connected to it in any way. Maybe I need to give it another try. If it’s difficult to switch the bearing stick it in the freezer for 15 min.
