Those are two images of the same Grail? That’s so cool. Not sure which I like better honestly.

Yeh, first pic was taken under natual light and the second under random indoor light, lol.

Yesss, that’s a nice equipment, now I hope to see super sharp and neat yoyo pictures in wonderful scenery

(Wondering how It could get even better than what you’ve already posted…)

Just took a sample video

did one in 1080p 24fps and another in 1080p 240fps
to test out how a yoyo video would normally look and what the slow motion would look like at the most extreme end XD

on hind sight I should have planned out a routine but I just did what ever and left it at that haha

stitched the two clips together otherwise it’s straight out the camera.
it’s a bit grainy due to ISO being high (6400 for some reason)
but I didn’t mess around with any settings yet
just put it on shutter priority and changed the frame rate for now.
didn’t change anything else

Can only get better right once I learn how to use it better

Impressive, even the sound of the string hitting the yoyo and the bearing makes the perfect soundtrack. The color contrast was excellent.

Very nice. I too love the sound of the ring of string hitting metal.

Not seen that yoyo before. Looks like a shutter.

Didn’t he also do the denim pouches the BSP came in?

Very cool!

At 240fps, the maximum time the shutter could be open is 1/240 second. Not very long to expose the frame, so if aperture can’t open any wider, camera will compensate by turning up sensitivity on sensor (ISO).

For slow-motion, you’ll likely want to light yourself way brighter than usual.

Makes so much sense. Thank you will have to try that next time I want to actually do some slow mo videos!

I think so.

Something I didn’t buy!

I purchased a brown Project 2 prototype off the Facebook BST and this beauty showed up instead. The seller had packed up my order in a hurry after a power outage and accidentally sent me his OG Project instead. It goes back to him tomorrow but I’ll admit that I had to sneak in a throw or two while it’s in my custody (over carpet of course)
