Agreed. Its high performance despite its size.
That’s a fantastic, ‘small’ (at least compared to many of us who suffer from collection bloat ) collection.
Thank you! It certainly makes me happy. I’m going to try and adopt a “one for one” policy going forward, where if I want to add one to the collection I have to get rid of another. Probably won’t be successful, but worth a try!
that Unknown Pickaxe though, hiding in the corner.
Mail Day : SF Movement
(Innovation Movement Edition)
Came with a hand written note saying
“Minsok, This yoyo is for making tricks only. -SF”
So I was thinking does that mean I need to shelf this yoyo for a while?
I’m going to put my own interpretation of SF’s intention behind his wisdom and follow that.
For someone to make tricks, I’m assuming that you don’t just wake up and go today I am going to make tricks.
My assumption is that you need to play and put hours in and tricks are made from a moment of kenjataimu level of clarity.
So I am just going to use the crap out of this yoyo and that will all be one big part of trick making process so in my own interpretation everything that leads up to trick creation counts.
If I don’t make any new tricks for a good while, that will be because it’s still work in progress
that’s beautiful!
SPYY Mail Dayy! Big thanks to @Lilweewee for the trade!
Galaxy Diver from the C3 mystery box. It’s unbelievably good, even aside from its width. I haven’t been able to put it down.
I limit myself to a single case. Holds 14 I think. This was how I stopped the hoarding. Your case also ends up stacked with only the best of the best.
Ok I cheat a little the plastics aren’t in the case.
You need another case for plastics.
I’m definitely considering grabbing one when they release, first picture I saw was impressed. Still waiting for official specs.
You won’t regret it. It has amazing feel and controllability. I’m not completely sure that it’s the most stable and powerful throw I’ve owned, but it might be. It is also extremely versatile as it seems comfortable playing at any speed. The width is the probably the main discriminator, as some people may not prefer wider throws.
My rough spec estimates (based on comparison and a food scale) are 55 diameter, 50 width, 66 weight. Before weighing it, I would have guessed 63.5 with massive SS rings to give it agility with stability.
Your very welcome! And thank you I’m absolutely loving these!
What did you get in return Lil?
Mail Day though this is from the last four weeks. I just picked it up today after a longer vacation.
I really like that 3rd pic! Nicely done!
