That looks pretty BA.
Sure, yo-yos can be frustrating, but what if you want to really torture yourself?
I will get this figured out, eventuallyā¦
I very much agree with this general sentiment (but also very much like the shape of the Terrarian).
Iād love to get into 4 ball juggling. Have done basic 3 ball since I was a kid. Watching a number of people on instagram makes me want to learn some new patterns. My mind canāt process 4 objects, Iāve tried ![]()
Some awesome trades and buys from $$ from BST sales
.
Shoutout to @KesmEyeball for the Knight & Gale, @Nocompromise for the Pariah, @fradiger for the Space Cadet, and @Sneezy for the Endgame! Kodiak is a Foolās Gold from CLYW directly.
Would love to hear your thoughts on both the 2Sick yo-yos you got. They werenāt really on my radar until I found out my old teammate was on their team. They have a new mono coming out soon that looks interesting and itās a very similar profile to the knight and gale.
Honestly though apart from the new mono, most of their catalog doesnāt appeal to me. Iād say only the Knight and Gale, the Blockade and Endgame look interesting to me, but the Blockade looks a lot like a more expensive Grasshopper GTX and the Endgame gives me Bliss vibes. The Bliss just felt like a brick to me so Iām hesitant about similar looking stuff. That and Iām wary of trying more expensive stuff i might not like.
so you donāt damage the precious green throws!
What the first one the organic
just got some silicone and let me tell the flowable is so much easier then regular silicone and its WWAAAAAAYYYYY CHEAPER then pads
A rosin puck, that stuff works great. No slipping at all and it will last a very long time.
Iāll have to get back to you on the Knight & Gale. Itās a really nice H/V (edit: eh more H than V) that doesnāt seem too extreme on the H side and doesnāt feel overly rim weighted. It feels great on the string and in the hand but I wonder if some people might say it feels heavy for a bimetal. Forgot to mention that itās technically a proto but I believe itās identical to the production run.
Edit: Iāve been playing a lot of bimetals lately; I wonder if the K&G would feel more rim weighted to me if I had been playing more monometals. But it definitely doesnāt feel as rim weighted as the Endgame IMO.
Havenāt played the Endgame too much but plays very H. Itās pretty rim weighted proportional to the body and very stable but doesnāt feel like a brick IMO. I wonder if some might find it stiff; I donāt but Iām a really casual player and not really pushing it all that much. It also feels amazing on the catch. H shapes are very hit or miss for me but Iām really liking this one.
I have a Blockade and it does feel very similar to the Grasshopper GTX. It feels a touch more rim weighted and slightly narrower with a finger spin bowl but overall very similar. I think Iād pick the Grasshopper GTX over it though.
Edit: forgot to add pics! OG Shutter for scale
Dude nonja you always come through when it comes to comparisons. Youāre the man.
And Iām definitely picking up a Grasshopper GTX at some point. In my limited time trying it it didnāt have the overly heavy feeling that Iāve experienced with a lot of bimetals. Sometimes you just throw a yo-yo and instantly love it, that definitely happened for me with the Grasshopper.
wow the original Shutter that must be fun to have in your collection whereād you even get it?
Haha thanks! Honestly Iād take my descriptions with a grain of salt; Iām really just a casual player who likes collecting. But Iām glad you find them helpful!
